Obverse: | a causeway bridge facing the five towered Angkor Wat with rays behind and an ornate design below, all surrounded with a rim of Khmer script – “People’s Republic of Kampuchea” on the first version and “State of Cambodia” on the second version; | |||

Ribbon: | 27mm; yellow 2mm, red 1mm, yellow 2mm, red 4mm, yellow 9mm, red 4mm, yellow 2mm, red 1mm, yellow 2mm (the same ribbon as for the Victory Decoration); folded pentagonally on the first version and straight on the second version | |||
Device: | on the service bar only, a small gold Angkor Wat device, with more detail that the devices on the Order of Victory ribbon bars |
The medal is very rare – awarded 20 times in the first version and 30 times in the second version.
