THE MEDALS OF FRENCH INDOCHINA

Le Gouverneur général p. i. de l'Indochine, Commandeur de la Légion d'honneur,

Vu les décrets du 20 octobre 1911, portant fixation des pouvoirs de Gouverneur général et organisation financière et administrative de l'Indochine ;
Vu l'arrêté du 9 mars 1918, fixant les conditions d'octroi de la médaille d'honneur instituée en faveur du personnel français et indigène de la Police de l'Indochine,

      ARRÊTE :

Article premier. — L'article 4 de l'arrêté du 9 mars 1918, fixant les conditions d'octroi de la médaille d'honneur instituée en faveur du personnel français et indigène de la Police de l'Indochine est modifié ainsi qu'il suit :

« Art. 4. — Les titulaires de la médaille d'honneur de la Police sont autorisés à porter cette médaille suspendue à un double ruban en soie, large de quatre centimètres, rayé de ban les horizontales rouge, jaune vif et vert pâle, conforme au type officiel. Ils pourront également porter à la boutonnière gauche du col de leur vêtement un ruban de mêmes couleurs ».

Art. 2. — Le Secrétaire général du Gouvernement général de l'Indochine, le Gouverneur de la Cochinchine, les Résident supérieurs an Tonkin, en Annam, an Cambodge, au Laos et l'Administrateur en chef du Territoire de Kouang-tchéou-wan sont chargés, chacun en ce qui le concerne, de l'exécution du présent arrêté.

In view of the decrees of the October 20, 1911, fixing the powers of governor general and financial and administrative organization of the Indochina ;
In view of the order of March 9th, 1918, fixing the conditions for granting the medal of honor established for French and native staff of the Police of Indochina,

      ORDERS :

First article. — Article 4 of the decree of March 9, 1918, fixing the conditions for granting the medal of honor established for French and native staff of the Police of Indochina is amended to read as follows:

"Article 4. — Holders of the Medal of Honour of the Police are permitted to wear the medal suspended from a double ribbon in silk, four centimetres wide, striped horizontal red, bright yellow and pale green, conforming to the official type. They may also wear in the left buttonhole of the collar of the clothes a ribbon of the same colors"

Article 2. — The Secretary General of the Government General of Indochina, the Governor of Cochinchina, The Resident Superiors of Tonkin, Annam, Cambodia, and Laos, and the Chief Administrator of the territory of Kouang-tchéou-wan are responsible, each as concerned, with the execution of this order.
