    Obverse: Red disk surrounded with a thin rim of gold rice sheaves, and in the center a large gold star on a rayed red background, with around that on a red inner rim a Lao inscription above for army Lao text gif(gong-tapb) and below for braveryLao text gif(pi-la-aht-haan), and above a slightly elaborate suspension piece;
    Reverse: plain
  Ribbon: red 22mm, with pentagonal suspension
